Grooming Policies

All dogs must be up to date on rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordatella vaccines to receive any grooming services. Please verify that your pet is up to date with all 3 vaccines before scheduling.
We must have the vet records that show all vaccines by 48 hours prior to your appointment. For safety reasons we do not groom dogs the same day they receive vaccinations.
If we find fleas on your dog, they will receive a flea bath with the additional charge of $10 - $20.
Joyful Pets reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. If we feel it is not safe to continue a service for any reason, you will be called immediately to pick up your dog. Charges will reflect the work that was able to be completed.

For first time clients, a deposit of 25% of the estimated grooming cost is required to book. This deposit is refundable or transferable up until 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time. If you cancel the appointment within 48 hours of the start time, or no show the appointment, you forfeit the deposit. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, you may be considered a no show.
For recurring clients, we have a 3 strike policy for last minute cancellations, no shows, and late drop offs. Each no show, cancellation with less than 24 hours notice, and drop off that is over 15 minutes late counts as one strike. When you have accumulated 3 strikes within one calendar year, you will be required to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit to schedule the next appointment.

While we do our best to provide a great service, we are only human. If you have any issue with the service provided, please contact us as soon as possible. If it has been longer than one week since the service was provided, no fix or refund will be issued.

Full payment is due upon pick up. Pricing is dependent on the amount of time the service takes for your pet. Most of the time the price you are quoted at booking or drop off is what you will be charged. If your pet takes longer than anticipated , your total due may be up to $10 higher that the quote.
All first time clients will be required to pay a deposit to schedule an appointment.
